倡 议 书 ——中国“全球500佳”青少年奖获得者联名倡议  全球少年儿童： 茫茫宇宙，有一个美丽的蓝色星球，那是人类赖以生存的地球家园。地球只有一个，破坏了不再恢复；家园只有一个，失去了不再拥有。我们是地球的主人，绿色的希望。爱护地球，保护环境是我们义不容辞的责任！在2002年世界环境日到来之际，我们向全球少年儿童发出以下倡议： 一、 在学校：学习环保知识，提高环保意识。 二、 在家里：提倡垃圾分类，做到节约资源。 三、 在社会：倡导绿色消费，进行环保选购。 四、 在大自然：积极救助物种，学会保护自然。 让我们从小做起，从身边做起，从现在做起，为了“让地球充满生机”,贡献出自己的全部力量! 同时，我们建议联合国环境规划署把每年六月的第一周确定为儿童环保周，将6.1国际儿童节和6.5世界环境日结合起来，确定一个适合全球少年儿童的活动主题，以此强化他们的环保意识和行动。 1995年“全球500佳”：湖北省武汉市大兴路小学红领巾环境观测站 1996年“全球500佳”：江苏省徐州矿务集团环境小记者团 1998年“全球500佳”：湖南省长沙市望月村第二小学红领巾“爱我家 园”环保活动小组 2000年“全球500佳”、中国特聘环境使者、香港“地球之友”总干事吴方笑薇联名支持！ 2002年6月5日 Joint Proposal Initiated by three UN Global 500 Youth Laureates of China 6.5.2002 To All the Children in the World： In the Universe, there is a beautiful blue planet.That is our home……the Earth. We have but one home.The Earth will take a long time to recover if theenvironment is damaged. We will never have anotherplanet to live on if we lose the one we have now. Therefore, young friends, we are the future of theEarth and the hope of owning a green land. It is ourunshirkable responsibility to protect the Earth andits environment. On World Environment Day 2002, wecall upon all the children of the World to takeaction:  First, we must learn about the environment and raiseawareness at school. Secondly, recycle waste andconserve resources at home. Thirdly, promote greenconsumption and environmental friendly purchase.Finally, make friends with Nature. Try to save speciespopulation and protect Nature. Let's do it now, when we are still young. Protect theenvironment around us first. Let's do our bit for abright future and our green homeland. We would also like to propose UNEP to designate thefirst week of June every year as "ChildrenEnvironment Action Week" to link up June 1,International Children Festival and June 5, WorldEnvironment Day; to dedicate an annual theme forchildren's collective action worldwide, thus enhancetheir awareness and action.
